In French, ‘graille’ is slang for food. I'm Lebanese and Italian, Canadian-born, American-raised, and London-based, which basically means I’ve had the good fortune to grow up with insane food. A love for taking notes while watching the Food Network when I was a kid has translated into a casual passion for cooking for the people in my life. It’s music to my ears when my friends are chatting while I’m preparing food and seeing how those moments create memories. The dining table is at the core of those memories, and although I am not an expert hostess by any means, I think I know what it takes for people to be happy while eating food. La Graille offers a product that is both purposeful for hosting and lends to the secret ingredient of an unforgettable dinner party: conversation.
